Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Campus Patrol in Naples, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $23.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify concerns for reporting.
• Monitor access points and activity across the location, document observations, and report security-related issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support campus operations during high-traffic periods, special events, and/or emergency situations by following Allied Universal post instructions and client-directed protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
