Mock order - cashier
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Overnight Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, accurately process transactions, maintain a clean work area, and assist with stocking and store operations during overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
- Handle customer questions and resolve concerns courteously.
- Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Restock shelves, coolers, and merchandise as needed.
- Keep the checkout area and store clean and organized.
- Assist with inventory counts and product rotation.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and cash-handling guidelines.
- Support other store operations as assigned during the overnight shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain productive during overnight hours.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Schedule:
- Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Weekends and holidays may be required.
Pay rate: $16
