CDL A Driver | $34 Per Hour | Covington Township, PA

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Covington Township, PA. This is a temp to hire position. 

CDL A Driver Details 
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday; 5 PM - Midnight start time
  • Pay:  $34.00 Per Hour
  • Route Type: Local
  • Freight / Load Type: Car parts
  • Equipment: Automatic trucks
  • Handling: Touch Freight - unload with pallet jack and dolly, some by hand
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  
  • License: CDL A
  • Experience: 1 year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  
  • Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes 
  • Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
  • Perform required handling tasks including unloading with palletjack, dolly and some by hand.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
