Operating Room - Surgical Technologist

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Robotics and trauma experience required.

Special Requests: Eligibility as current/previous employee: cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Mostly self-schedule; generally no block scheduling.

Unit Details: Cases include ortho trauma/joints, robotics, neuro/spine, plastics, ENT, urology, and LV1 trauma.

Shift & Scheduling: Friday-Sunday. Weeknight call: 3-4 shifts every 6 weeks. Weekend call not required unless help is needed. Holiday call required. Call response time: 2h.

Floating Requirements: No floating within the facility; if there is an extreme need, may float within Zone 3: OCH, LUH, SAH, SAN.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
