*1099 CRNA Opportunity in Corpus Christi, Texas - $320k +*
*Pre-Anesthesia Assessment:*
- Evaluate patient medical histories and physical conditions to determine anesthesia risks
- Order or review diagnostic tests (labs, EKGs, imaging) as necessary
- Conduct pre-op interviews to assess patient readiness for anesthesia
- Develop personalized anesthesia care plans for outpatient or office-based procedures
*Anesthesia Planning and Preparation:*
- Select appropriate anesthesia drugs, equipment, and techniques for each procedure
- Ensure emergency and airway equipment is available and functional
*Anesthesia Administration:*
- Induce, maintain, and monitor anesthesia during procedures
- Manage post-op pain and nausea
- Provide evaluation and instructions in the recovery room
- Discharge patients when medically stable in office-based or ASC settings
*Collaboration & Documentation:*
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, proceduralists, nurses, and recovery staff
- Accurately document anesthesia records, including medications, vitals, interventions, and responses
- Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
*Additional Duties:*
- Maintain credentialing, licensure, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Attend staff meetings and provide input on anesthesia protocols and efficiency
- Educate patients and families on anesthesia risks and recovery instructions
*Requirements:*
- Certified by NBCRNA and licensed in the practicing state
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
