Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Hawaii Health Systems Corp - East Region.

Required Skills/Experience: Standard RPN III skills. strong work experience in pre/postoperative nursing (i.e. abdominal surgeries, like lap chole/appy, mastectomies, thyroidectomies, chest tubes, drains

Shift & Scheduling: Surgical is a 12-hr. shift unit. No ‘on call’ requirement. Must be able to work Shifts/Weekends. Must be flexible. Holiday required

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
