About the Role

We are seeking 1 2 skilled Remote Video Editors to support ongoing content production. This is a fully remote position focused exclusively on post-production editing. No filming, on-site work, or equipment setup is required.
The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and capable of transforming raw footage into engaging, professional-quality content while meeting deadlines and maintaining consistent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social media, marketing, and business communications.
• Produce both short-form and long-form video content optimized for audience engagement and platform requirements.
• Add captions, graphics, transitions, music, sound effects, and other visual elements as appropriate.
• Perform color correction, audio balancing, and basic post-production enhancements.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, project objectives, and quality standards.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining project timelines.
• Organize project assets, maintain file management standards, and ensure smooth collaboration within a remote environment.
• Deliver completed projects on schedule and communicate progress proactively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing with a portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent professional editing software.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and audience retention.
• Experience editing content for YouTube, social media, marketing campaigns, or business communications is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment.

Working Arrangement

• Remote freelance/contract position.
• Project-based engagement only.
• There is no guarantee of a minimum number of hours, projects, or weekly workload. Work is assigned based on business needs. Some weeks may have no assignments, while others may require a higher volume of work (there is no weekly or hourly commitment of any kind)
• Editors are compensated only for approved work performed on assigned projects.

Compensation

• USD $8 $10 per hour, depending on experience and portfolio quality.
• Payment is based on time worked for assigned projects.
• Opportunity for ongoing freelance collaboration for high-performing editors.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief, unpaid editing assessment using provided raw footage.
We plan to hire two editors initially and evaluate performance during live project work to determine long-term collaboration.

Test Task

Create a polished 1-minute video from the supplied footage while following the provided editing guidelines.
