Import and Compliance Specialist

Position: Import and Compliance Specialist
Car Tech, LLC is seeking a qualified Import and Compliance Specialist to support import operations, logistics coordination, and trade compliance activities within its automotive manufacturing supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate records of imported materials and inventory in internal systems
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and monitor end-to-end material flow
• Ensure compliance with U.S. customs regulations, including HTS classification and documentation requirements
• Track shipments and resolve logistics or delivery issues with suppliers and freight providers
• Manage import-related procedures, policies, and internal compliance documentation
• Coordinate delivery schedules and shipment terms with suppliers
• Review material specifications and support procurement-related documentation
• Communicate with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding logistics and compliance matters
• Support continuous improvement of import and supply chain processes

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and international trade compliance preferred
• Experience with ERP systems or logistics tracking systems preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and cross-functional environment
