The key responsibility of a Nurse Anesthetist is to ensure that patients have the best possible outcomes when receiving anesthesia. In your job description for Nurse Anesthetist positions, you may wish to establish the following duties:

Reviewing patient medical history to learn about their general health, allergies and any previous reactions to anesthesia

Selecting the right type and correct amount of anesthesia independently or in consultation with other medical professionals
