Data Center Server Operations Manager, Google Cloud
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience managing technical teams, vendor or contract management and service delivery.
- 8 years of experience working in data center environments, including building and operating infrastructure, and network and compute architecture and lifecycle, and Linux/Unix system administration.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with initiating and executing strategic initiatives in a global environment.
- Experience leading and improving Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives.
- Exceptional data gathering and presentation skills.

Responsibilities
- Manage round-the-clock operations across all shifts (days, nights, weekends) within the metro area.
- Oversee hiring, coaching, talent development, and vendor management for technical teams.
- Lead the deployment, maintenance, and support of large-scale systems and network architectures.
- Leverage Linux/Unix, network protocol, and hardware life-cycle expertise to resolve complex strategic challenges.
- Execute global strategic projects aligned with company goals while driving strict EHS compliance.
