Who You Are

The ideal candidate will be a high performer with 4 to 6 years of experience in special situations and/or bankruptcy and restructuring at a leading firm, including work on large, complex chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructuring matters.

You have a strong understanding of restructuring principles.
You have exposure to transactional aspects of restructurings, including negotiating plans, financing arrangements, asset sales, restructuring support agreements and liability management transactions.

You have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong judgment, and the ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters with increasing responsibility.

Strong academic credentials in law coursework at a top-tier law school are highly valued.

You are a member of the New York bar.

Associate Bonus Structure

Associates can count unlimited pro-bono and inclusion hours, and up to 100 pre-approved hours for knowledge management and business development activities, toward their bonus eligibility.

Additional high-hour bonuses are available at 2,100, 2,300, and 2,500 hours, and merit incentives are awarded to associates whose performance exceeds expectations, enhancing transparency in annual evaluations.

In 2025, the high-hours awards added 10 40% to the base bonus amount, and merit incentives added 10% or 20% to both the base bonus and high-hours awards. With these awards and incentives, our most senior associates were eligible for bonuses of up to $218,200, inclusive of special bonuses.
