Direct Support Professional (DSP) / RBT - Full-Time
Location: Temecula, CA (Live-Out)
Salary: $100,000 / year (Full-Time)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (with mutual flexibility for schedule adjustments, and possible travel with family)

We are Seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) who holds a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification for a full-time, live out role. In this position, you will provide personalized, one on one support, acting as a mentor, coach and responsible best Friend . Your primary focus will be promoting independence, community integration, emotional regulation, and skill development to help the client achieve the highest possible quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Behavioral & Personal Support: Implement person-centered plans and behavior support plans. Help the client recognize and manage emotions to effectively prevent meltdowns, de-escalate aggressive behaviors, and ensure a secure environment.
Skill Development & Independence: Teach daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, time management), improve communication abilities, and foster self-help skills.
Schedule & Activity Planning: Create, plan, and maintain weekly visual schedules focused on life skills, social skills and independent building to help reduce anxiety and promote autonomy.
Community Integration & Fitness: Transport and accompany the client to appointments, community resources, and social groups. Actively participate in and encourage outdoor fitness and recreational activities, including personal training, rock climbing, swimming, bike riding, running, and trips to parks, museums and festivals.
Daily Care & Nutrition: Prepare and serve meals/snacks, encourage trying new foods, ensure constant access to fresh water, and assist with grooming, bathing, dressing and hygiene choices as needed.
Health, Safety & Monitoring: Monitor for safety at all times, administer medications/supplements, handle emergency situations and securely manage elopement risks or sensory trigger.
Documentation & Advocacy: Maintain daily logs, track skill acquisition, empower the client to make their own choices, and report behavioral or medical changes directly to the family.
Job Requirements
Certification: Must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and CPR certification
Role Type: Full-time, Live-out
Core Approach: Ability to act as a mentor and responsible best friend ; strong focus on modeling excellent manners, conversation and appropriate social behaviors.
Physical Stamina: Ability and willingness to participate in high-energy outdoor and fitness activities (e.g., hiking, running, biking, swimming, rock climbing, kayaking, etc..)
Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable Vehicle to safely transport the client to daily community events and appointments. With a good standing driving record.
Physical Requirement's: The job requires active, peer-level participation in intense physical activities. Looking for someone who shares an active interest in high-energy sports and outdoor fitness. Must be able to act as a relatable peer mentor, coach, and companion. Must have the physical stamina to actively participate in and demonstrate athletic and fitness maneuvers alongside the client. (Client is 15 year old Teen Male 6ft tall 200 lbs)
