Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 2 years with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong data analytics background - ability to separately liase with partners in Product, Engineering, Partnerships and DS&E to understand datasets and run analyses to provide insights to partners and finance leadership.
  • Ability to self-initiate and self-direct work in an unstructured environment, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, accountability, and ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • Acumen to build Relationships in a nascent product area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial evaluation, scoping, and modeling of potential partnerships, licensing agreements, and scaled remuneration structures for Generative AI technologies and ecosystem incentives.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with leaders in a high-growth, ambiguous environment, providing proactive financial guidance to enable agile decision-making across the Search and K&I organization.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and extreme ownership to adapt seamlessly to changing priorities, moving from technical data processing to high-level executive storytelling for executive leadership.
  • Conduct data-driven analyses to quantify the net financial impact of GAI products, including AI Overviews (AIO) and AI Mode (AIM), on business, query growth, core search metrics, and infrastructure/machine resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with broader finance and cross-functional colleagues to iterate on the Long Range Plan (LRP), manage resource allocations for nascent and rapidly evolving AI products and ecosystem programs.
