Job Details

We are looking for a CDL A driver in Schererville, Indiana, with a pay rate of $29.50 per hour. This position involves driving an automatic Peterbilt semi tractor with a flat trailer, hauling pipes, valves, and other sewer and waterwork products. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule with the opportunity to work overtime as needed. This is a TransForce driving opportunity, where you will receive real support from a dedicated team and be treated like a priority.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $29.50 Per Hour
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,200
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 am to 4 pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
• Overtime possible depending on business needs

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving up to 2.5 hours one way to deliver materials
• Preparing deliveries and assisting in loading and unloading
• Communicating with your supervisor throughout the day
• Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensuring compliance with all DOT standards and regulations
• Representing the company professionally and ensuring quality customer service

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Smartphone savvy and good customer service skills
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
