Job Details

We are hiring a Local CDL A Driver in Wichita, Kansas, with a pay rate of $28 per hour. You will enjoy home daily benefits while making local deliveries to the Kansas City area and occasionally into Oklahoma, hauling paper products. This is a TransForce driving opportunity, where you will receive real support from a dedicated team committed to your success.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $28 per hour
• Home Daily
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, starting at 6 AM, working 8-12 hours

What You'll Be Doing

• Local delivery within a 200-250 mile radius, primarily in the Kansas City area and Oklahoma.
• Touch freight, loading and unloading with an electric pallet jack or sit-down forklift.
• Operating a 48' or 53' trailer with a liftgate; all trucks are automatics.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Forklift experience preferred (sit-down), but willing to train
• Must be willing to load and unload trailers (heavy touch freight)
• Liftgate experience preferred
• Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and customer needs
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
