Commissioning Engineer - hyperscale data center construction

Rinvio is recruiting for the Commissioning Engineer lane on a large hyperscale data center construction program in the Wichita Falls, TX region. This role is focused on hands-on commissioning engineering support, script execution, functional test documentation, deficiency tracking, retest coordination, and turnover evidence.

This is a project-engineering lane: documentation accuracy, RFI/submittal flow, drawing coordination, and field follow-through are the core of the job.

Pay: $80.00 - $110.00 / hr
Schedule: 50 hours/week expected

Project: Large hyperscale data center build. Client and exact site details are shared only with qualified candidates.

Primary scope:
- Walk systems with commissioning leads, vendors, and trade partners to support pre-functional and functional testing
- Maintain issue logs, test sheets, retest status, deficiency notes, and evidence needed for turnover
- Translate field test results into clean documentation so construction and commissioning teams can close gaps quickly

Role emphasis:
- Maintain logs, submittals, RFIs, drawings, material tracking, issue lists, and turnover documentation
- Translate field questions into clean documentation and make sure answers reach the people doing the work

Background that fits:
