Flooring foreman

Flooring Foreman (15+ Years Experience Required) Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Flooring Foreman with 15+ years in the industry to lead installation crews and oversee high-quality flooring projects. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and supervise flooring crews on residential and/or commercial projects • Oversee installation of hardwood, LVP, laminate, tile, and carpet • Evaluate and prepare subfloors, including moisture assessment and mitigation • Ensure all work meets industry standards and manufacturer guidelines • Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen • Manage job timelines, materials, and workflow • Communicate directly with project managers, contractors, and clients •Maintain job site safety, organization, and quality control • Proven ability to collaborate across teams, manage multiple timelines, and complete projects efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Technical Expertise Required: • Advanced knowledge of hardwood flooring systems and installation methods • Strong understanding of moisture control and prevention • Experience with ASTM testing methods (F2170 RH & F1869 Calcium Chloride) • Ability to identify moisture intrusion and substrate issues • Knowledge of vapor emissions, alkalinity, and humidity standards • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex installation challenges Requirements: • 15+ years of professional flooring experience • Proven experience in a Foreman or leadership role • Ability to run jobs independently from start to finish • Strong leadership and communication skills • Reliable transportation • Own professional tools required • Ability to manage multiple projects and crews
