Design for Manufacturability Engineer, Printed Circuit Board Assembly
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing.
- 5 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience overseeing yield improvements and cycle time reductions for high volume and high complexity parts.

As a Design for Manufacturing (DfM) Engineer for Printed Circuit Board/Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCB/PCBA) on the Global Technical Operations(GTO), you will work from prototype to New Product Introduction (NPI) to commercialization of products. You will be the cornerstone of all PCB/PCBA New Product Introduction activities and will work with technical cross-functional teams in the development of new products.

Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end factory operations for Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly during NPI builds through mass production.
- Lead all PCB/PCBA related technical support to new products under development.
- Lead engineering support with respect to failure analysis, yield, reliability improvements and cost reduction.
- Develop key partnerships with Engineering, supply chain and other cross-functional organizations to ensure risk and challenges will be assessed. Support EE/CAD Engineers to improve designs, quality and reliability while keeping cost in check.
- Identify and drive DfM, or process improvements that reduce process cycle times and cost, while maintaining exceptional quality.
