Job Summary:
Under the direction of the AccessPlus Manager/Team Lead, the Account Manager is responsible for managing the full quote-to-bind lifecycle for commercial lines business submitted by member agencies across the DFW territory. Working in close partnership with field-based Commercial Field Sales Coaches, this role serves as the remote operational engine behind new business production turning agent submissions into competitive quotes, navigating carrier markets, and driving pipeline growth through consistent follow-through and expert placement strategy.

This is not a direct sales role with a personal quota. Success is measured by the quality and speed of support provided to member agencies, enabling them to close more commercial business. The Account Manager is a trusted partner to agents, carriers, and internal teammates alike.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Keep track of submission requests on Sales Force, making sure to distribute quotes based on mentorship assignments.
• Review new business applications or bind requests for completeness.
• Identify and proactively contact responsible member agent to obtain any missing information and/or receive clarification on any information needed to quote and/or bind the account.
• Finalize quote online with appropriate companies or submit to appropriate carriers depending on the carrier’s new business restrictions/requirements.
• Forward quotes as received to ISM for their review.
• In the event standard markets are not available, seek and provide complete information to ISM for alternative coverage options (MarketFinder, carriers agent might be directly appointed with, etc.).
• Issue policies through insurance carrier’s website upon receipt of complete bind request.
• Actively engage and mentor new agents with respect to the completion of applications, insurance products available in the marketplace and insurance companies that can provide said insurance products.
• Meet and/or exceed all assigned submission goals on an annual basis.
• Meet and exceed all required time standards on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
• Walk new member agents through Commercial AccessPlus mentorship program, with emphasis on quality of business written and being strategic about companies to place business with.
• Conduct quality assurance audits for any bind confirmations received (# of audits on bind confirmations will vary).
• Assist in the planning and implementation of ongoing training initiatives for member agents, including Our Clients retail, and third parties seeking professional training and direction on independent agent processes and procedures for sales & service.
• Coordinate, plan and assist with monthly, quarterly and annual meetings for member agents
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to assess and meet information needs.
• Assist with content creation and rough drafts on various marketing material specific to the alliance, including monthly newsletters, white papers, and stewardship reports.
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Responsible to work collaboratively with others (internally and externally) to achieve common objectives, goals and results.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• This position is not responsible for directly supervising employees. This position does not have subordinate supervisors reporting directly.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Education and/or Experience
o Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
o General Lines Property & Casualty License (TX) required.
• Additional Notes:
o Basic computer/email skills.
o Minimum of 2-3 years personal/commercial lines insurance experience.
o Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, handling a high volume of transactions. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to individuals and small groups. Must be comfortable with extremely automated environment
• Language Skills
o Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common communications received from carriers and our member agents. Ability to communicate effectively to common inquiries or complaints from customers or business members of the community.
• Mathematical Skills
o Limited mathematical skills required.
• Reasoning Ability
o Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of numerical data from quote reports, new business reports, etc.
