We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Systems Analyst to join our project design team. In this fast-paced environment, you will serve as a key contributor to software development projects, utilizing both Agile (Kanban/Sprint) and traditional Waterfall methodologies. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels at managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards for work quality and process efficiency.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify business processes, pain points, and system deficiencies.
• Conduct root cause analysis to recommend business or technical resolutions.
• Document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; manage requirements traceability and testing.
• Diagram current and proposed processes, including process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
• Decompose requirements into Epics and Features, mapping them into technical design specifications.
• Create conceptual prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups.
• Perform quality assurance functions, including defining test objectives, creating test plans/cases, and executing regression testing.
• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Act as a project coordinator for small-scale projects or workstreams.
• Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, capturing decisions and action items to ensure project alignment.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering business and systems analysis artifacts.
• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Scrum concepts.
• Proven experience organizing and maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs.
• Expertise in translating strategy requirements into application requirements and user stories.
• Proficiency in defining acceptance criteria and managing the acceptance process with development teams.
• Experience with large, multi-module systems.
• Experience in managing projects or workstreams independently.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS), JIRA, or Confluence.
• Ability to create low and high-fidelity wireframes.
• Experience building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong experience writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent.
