Automotive Technician

We are a family-owned business operating in Hamilton since 1978. We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Duties

Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently.
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems.
Complete auto estimating tasks for repairs, prepare detailed service reports, and communicate repair needs clearly to owner.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols during all repair procedures.

Skills

Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation.
Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and alignment services.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
