Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Functional & Regenerative Medicine

Advanced Functional Medicine of Austin & 360 Jasmine Acupuncture & Wellness Center — Austin, TX

About Us

We're a 5-star rated, award-winning integrative medical clinic with a decade-long reputation for truly changing lives in Austin. What began as 360 Jasmine Acupuncture & Wellness Center has grown into Advanced Functional Medicine of Austin—a practice specializing in functional, regenerative, and longevity medicine. We blend Western diagnostics, Chinese medicine, regenerative therapies, and cutting-edge anti-aging science to deliver results that conventional models rarely achieve.

Above all, we're a faith-driven practice. We believe caring for patients is a God-given calling, and we approach our work with love, kindness, empathy, and the old-fashioned heart of a country doctor who truly knows and cares for the people they serve.

Position Summary

We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who wants to practice medicine the way it was meant to be practiced—unrushed, root-cause focused, and genuinely transformative. This isn't 7-to-15-minute, prescription-and-out medicine. Here, you'll have the time to truly know your patients, uncover the underlying causes of their health challenges, and walk with them through real healing.

You'll provide high-touch, personalized care using advanced diagnostics and proven protocols in a private-pay, wellness-focused setting. You'll also be trained and mentored in cutting-edge therapies—peptides, IV nutrition, hormone optimization, regenerative aesthetics, gut microbiome restoration, detoxification, and longevity protocols—that deliver the kind of profound, life-changing outcomes our patients share every day. This is deeply rewarding work, and it's the kind of medicine that will help you live healthier, too.

Who Thrives Here

This role is a wonderful fit if you:

  • Are genuinely excited about functional, integrative, regenerative, and longevity medicine
  • Believe in root-cause, systems-based healing rather than quick symptom management
  • Want the time and freedom to build real relationships with your patients
  • Have a heart for serving people and a desire to keep growing in wisdom and knowledge
  • Are eager to learn cutting-edge protocols and bring innovation to patient care
  • Want a purpose-driven career, not just a job—a place where your work truly matters

If you've been longing to transition into (or deepen your work in) functional and regenerative medicine, we'd love to hear from you. If your heart is in conventional, insurance-driven, pharmaceutical-first medicine, this likely won't be the right home for you—and that's okay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive functional consultations, including detailed history, systems review, lifestyle assessment, and nutritional and supplement planning
  • Order, interpret, and clearly explain advanced labs (hormones, metabolic, gut, micronutrients, inflammatory markers, and more)
  • Develop and manage personalized treatment plans incorporating lifestyle, nutraceuticals, peptides, hormone optimization, and appropriate medications
  • Administer and/or oversee IV nutrient and detoxification therapies, peptide and regenerative protocols, medical weight loss programs, and integrative aesthetic and exosome-based treatments
  • Provide ongoing follow-up, education, and coaching to motivated patients committed to their transformation
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of acupuncturists, herbalists, and functional medicine and other leading wellness providers
  • Document thoroughly, accurately, and compliantly in the EHR

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Texas, in good standing
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or similar)
  • A genuine, demonstrated interest in functional, integrative, regenerative, and/or longevity medicine (courses, certifications, prior roles, or self-directed study)
  • Strong patient communication, education, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort with longer, in-depth visits and collaborative care planning
  • Must be detail-oriented!

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in functional, integrative, regenerative, hormone, or longevity medicine
  • Experience with IV therapy, hormone therapy, peptides, medical weight loss, or regenerative aesthetics
  • Familiarity with optimal/functional lab ranges and pattern recognition beyond standard ranges
  • Experience or interest in blending Eastern and Western modalities (acupuncture, Chinese medicine, mind-body approaches)
  • References from previous employers

A Real Career—and a Calling

This is more than a position; it's an opportunity to build a deeply satisfying, purpose-driven career helping patients transform their health, performance, and lifespan. You'll be part of a close-knit, faith-driven family that genuinely invests in your growth, encourages innovation, and gives you room to master a kind of medicine that's only becoming more valuable. While much of conventional, algorithm-driven care is being squeezed and automated, the hands-on, relationship-based, root-cause healing we practice depends on exactly what you bring—human presence, judgment, and heart.

Benefits & Perks

  • Intensive training and mentorship in functional, regenerative, and longevity medicine—including peptides, advanced diagnostics, hormone optimization, and anti-aging protocols, supported by AI-assisted in-depth lab analysis and summaries
  • Complimentary functional & integrative care for you and your immediate family, delivered by our own doctors and providers—the same root-cause, whole-person care our patients pay for, and care you simply won't find at a conventional Western office
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented environment where innovation in patient care is genuinely encouraged
  • A close-knit, faith-driven, family culture where your work has real purpose
  • Competitive compensation, with growth potential aligned to your impact and responsibility (details discussed in the interview)

Position Details

  • Schedule: [Full-Time / Part-Time — confirm], Austin, TX (on-site)
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience, with growth potential

How to Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief note telling us who you are and why functional and regenerative medicine speaks to you. We hire for character and heart as much as for credentials, so we'd love to get to know the real person behind the resume. If you're comfortable, feel free to include links to your public social media or professional profiles—we love getting a fuller sense of what you are passionate about. (Totally optional, and never a dealbreaker.)
