Hiring Basis: 6-month contract to permanent basis.
Location: Cambridge, MN 55008
Shift: Openings on 1st shift: 5:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, and 2nd shift: 3:15pm-1:45am Monday-Thursday
Pay For 1st Shift: $19-$22/ Hourly/W2
Pay For 2nd Shift: $23-$24/ Hourly/W2

Lotus Technical has a 6-month contract to permanent roles for machine Operators on first and second shift for our manufacturing client located in Cambridge, MN. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

SUMMARY

Operates punch press, CNC or other machines to trim, punch, shape, notch, weld, or crimp metal composite by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Proficient at running single op, spot weld, drill press, hand tools, and assemble product as directed.
Capable of running progressive punch press, saw, press brake, basic CNC, robotic welder and Comac.
Positions part against fixtures or stops on machine bed or on die.
Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
Inspects part for conformance to specifications.
Cleans and lubricates machine.
Follow established job procedures, accurately record electronically and manually, production information. (Part counts, labor hours, etc.)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED.
Must be capable of running progressive punch press, saw, press brake, basic CNC, robotic welder and Comac.
