Position Overview
A physical security integration company is hiring an Account Executive to drive new business through outbound prospecting and full-cycle sales execution. The company delivers modern, cloud-first security solutions across commercial environments, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion systems, and life safety.
This is a true hunter role, focused heavily on building pipeline from scratch and closing new business. The ideal candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning their territory and playing a key role in scaling a developing go-to-market function.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through close;
Generate and manage a predominantly self-sourced pipelineIdentify, engage, and develop new business opportunities across target verticals;
Conduct discovery and position tailored security solutions to client needs;
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners;
Collaborate with sales engineering teams to develop proposals;
Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking within CRM (HubSpot);
Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity targets;
Contribute to improving sales processes, discipline, and execution.
Ideal Candidate Profile
2 5 years of B2B sales experience;
Proven ability to prospect and generate pipeline independently;
Experience in physical security, cybersecurity, AV, low-voltage, guard services, or related technical solution-selling environments preferred;
Track record of managing full-cycle sales processes;
Strong communication, active listening, and consultative selling skills;
High level of discipline, consistency, and execution;
Hunter mentality with strong internal drive and accountability.

Additional Details
Location: Kansas City
Work Arrangement: Hybrid ( 3 days a week in-office + client-facing field work)
Travel: Local travel for client meetings and industry events
