Registered Nurse (RN) School District
Location: Aztec, New Mexico
Schedule: Up to 7.5 Hours/Day Monday Friday

Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive school health services across district schools. The RN will support student wellness, administer medications, respond to medical emergencies, maintain health records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct student health assessments, screenings, and referrals.
Review immunization records and participate in student registration activities.
Provide nursing services under IHPs, 504 Plans, and IEPs.
Administer medications and nursing procedures as prescribed.
Respond to medical emergencies and support emergency preparedness efforts.
Maintain confidential student health records and required documentation.
Ensure compliance with Medicaid billing and documentation requirements.
Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Supervise and train health assistants and unlicensed personnel.
Support school wellness initiatives and health programs.

Minimum Qualifications
Active New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) License.
PED Licensure/Approval (or pending approval acceptable).
Active NPI Number for Medicaid services.
Knowledge of school nursing practices and healthcare regulations.
Strong documentation, communication, and computer skills.
Ability to pass background check and fingerprint clearance.
