HiFyve is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in the Food Manufacturing industry!

Salary: $60,000 $65,000/year

Shift: 2nd Shift

Location: Onsite

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading production operations on 2nd shift within a high-volume food manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor will oversee production employees, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, drive productivity, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production team members during assigned shift

• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, GMP, USDA, and company standards

• Monitor production performance, labor utilization, yields, downtime, and key operational metrics

• Drive employee engagement, accountability, and performance improvement initiatives

• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, training, and employee development activities

• Investigate and resolve production, quality, safety, and personnel issues

• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, and Operations teams to achieve production goals

• Conduct shift meetings and communicate performance expectations

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the operation

• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, yield improvement, and cost savings

• Maintain accurate production records and reporting

• Assist with implementation of new processes, products, and operational improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in poultry processing required

• Experience leading production employees in a food manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of USDA regulations, food safety programs, and GMP requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

• Experience managing production metrics, labor utilization, yields, and performance goals

• Ability to coach, train, and develop hourly employees

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred

• Experience supporting debone, harvest, further processing, or value-added food manufacturing operations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

• Ability to work in cold, wet, and fast-paced production environments

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
