Salary: $150,000 $200,000
Schedule: Full-time On-Site

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Litigation Associate to support a nationally recognized plaintiff-side employment law practice. This role offers hands-on litigation experience handling depositions, hearings, mediations, motion practice, and trial preparation while working directly alongside firm leadership on wage-and-hour class and collective action matters.

You will play a key role managing active litigation matters and representing workers in complex employment disputes nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
Manage active litigation matters and case strategy
Support class and collective action litigation
Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
Work directly with firm partners on case development
Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
Mentor junior legal staff and support teams

Qualifications & Requirements:

U.S. Work Eligibility Required

Education & Experience:
JD from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in good standing
5 10 years of litigation experience
Significant deposition and courtroom experience required
Class or collective action litigation experience required
Plaintiff-side employment law experience preferred
Defense-side wage-and-hour experience considered

Technical Skills & Competencies:

Strong written discovery and motion practice experience
Trial experience including witness examinations
Knowledge of FLSA and wage-and-hour law
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage litigation matters independently
