Data Developer

Role Description:
• Design data structure from ingestion to visualization using Snowflake, DBT, and modern BI Tools
• Implement best practices for the data stack that provides maintainability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Provide expertise in data warehouse modelling and development for Snowflake
• Exercise best practices in optimal Data modelling for nonuniform sets of data
• Provide best practices for source code control with GitHub and CI/CD tools
• Design and Maintain data security access controls
• Develop SQL, HTML, and/or JavaScript code to optimize the stack or to generate views for visualization.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver to respective stakeholders.

Qualification:
• BS in Computer Science. The emphasis in Data Engineering is a plus
• 6-8 years Data Engineering Development and Visualization experience
• 3-5 years of Data Warehouse experience is required. Snowflake DWH is preferred
• 3-5 years of SQL experience, Snowflake SQL is preferred
• 2-4 years of DBT experiences, semantic layer experience is a plus
• 2-4 years of Jira experiences
• 2-4 years of experience with GitHub.
• 2-3 years of experience with CI/CD tools for the modern data stack
• 2-4 years of Tableau or modern BI tool experiences
• 2+ years of Python development
