Warehouse Associate

About the Role
Veladist is looking for a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, product preparation, packaging, labeling, order fulfillment, and shipment staging.
This is a hands-on warehouse role focused on accuracy, organization, and consistency. Warehouse Associates help prepare products for marketplace and direct-to-customer fulfillment by packing items, applying labels, shrink wrapping products, counting or weighing items, organizing completed goods, and keeping workstations clean and efficient.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions carefully. Accuracy is very important in this role because products must be prepared, labeled, packed, and shipped correctly.

Responsibilities
Arrive on time and be ready to begin work at the start of the shift.
Follow daily task assignments from the Warehouse Operations Supervisor.
Prepare workstations by clearing the work area and gathering required materials.
Package products according to company standards.
Apply product labels, barcode labels, shipment labels, or other required labels accurately.
Shrink wrap products when assigned, including singles, multi-packs, kits, or variety packs.
Inspect finished products for tears, air bubbles, loose seals, incorrect labels, or other issues.
Rework improperly packaged products when instructed.
Count, weigh, fill, or sort products based on assigned instructions.
Pack finished goods neatly into boxes with correct quantities and proper sealing.
Prepare direct-to-customer orders by verifying items, selecting packaging, sealing packages, and applying the correct shipping label.
Keep products, boxes, labels, and orders organized throughout the workday.
Stage completed packages, boxes, or shipments in the correct area.
Assist with loading completed packages or boxes for carrier pickup when needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workstation.
Return unused materials to the proper location at the end of the day.
Report damaged products, missing inventory, equipment issues, unclear instructions, or other problems to the supervisor immediately.
Ask for clarification before continuing if instructions are unclear.

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age due to warehouse safety requirements and applicable labor laws.
Prior warehouse, fulfillment, packing, shipping, or production experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and complete repetitive tasks accurately.
Strong attention to detail.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work at a steady pace while maintaining quality.
Willingness to learn warehouse procedures, packaging standards, and labeling requirements.
Ability to work independently once trained while also supporting the team.
Comfortable keeping a clean and organized workstation.
Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, pack, label, and handle products throughout the shift.
Ability to perform repetitive packaging, labeling, counting, weighing, and product-handling tasks.
Ability to lift and move boxes or products up to 50 pounds and as required for the role.
Ability to assist with staging, organizing, and loading packages or boxes when needed.
Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment with or without reasonable accommodation.
