TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER

The Technical Program Manager - R&D will lead the execution of the company's product development programs, serving as the central point of coordination across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and commercial teams. As the Power platform continues to scale and invest in proprietary aerospace and energy technologies, the business is building the internal capability to develop, industrialize, and launch new products at an accelerated pace. This role will provide the program leadership necessary to ensure those initiatives move efficiently from development through commercialization and launch. Today, the Mod-1 program represents the organization's highest-priority development effort.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the integrated program plan for the Mod-1 development program, including schedule, budget, major milestones, risk, resource coordination, and executive reporting.
• Drive the program from its current development state to a production-ready design that can be handed effectively into product, supply chain, and manufacturing execution.
• Establish the operating cadence for the program, including milestone reviews, decision forums, risk reviews, issue escalation, and cross-functional accountability.
• Partner closely with the VP of Engineering and engineering leadership to align technical priorities, resource needs, design maturity, readiness milestones, and program risks.
• Coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure the product can be designed, built, tested, industrialized, launched, and supported successfully.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate the program roadmap for assigned hardware development programs, from requirements capture and design maturity through production launch and follow-on variants.
• Coordinate and maintain product requirements documentation, key performance parameters, acceptance criteria, design-to-cost targets, and program-level trade-off documentation
• Lead the transition from prototype and qualification activity into production readiness, including tooling, process readiness, yield, test flow, first-article inspection, and rate-readiness considerations.
• Track and report meaningful program KPIs, including schedule performance, cost performance, quality escapes, on-time delivery risk, supplier readiness, test progress, and manufacturing readiness.

REQUIREMENTS
• You bring 8+ years of experience leading complex aerospace hardware, propulsion, turbine, engine, or similarly rigorous product development programs, with direct ownership of schedule, budget, milestones, risk, and cross-functional execution.
• You have successfully participated in or led at least one major development program that resulted in a new engine, engine module, aerospace hardware product, power generation product, or comparable complex industrial product reaching production or launch readiness.
• You have worked within an NPI, NPD, MPI, engineering program management, or product development organization where engineering, design, supply chain, production, certification, and commercial commitments had to be coordinated under pressure.
• You hold a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

COMPENSATION
A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary plus performance-based bonus.

To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter, preferably in MS Word format, to Derek Bush . A fully detailed, formal specification will be sent to top-level , qualified candidates.
