Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Minimum of 24 continuous months within the last 3 years rendering direct patient care in a public or private institution.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting patients/youth with activities of daily living and providing nursing care under RN supervision.
Performing and documenting rounds on patients/youth receiving medical and/or psychiatric care, reporting condition changes to the RN.
Obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.
Assisting non-custody staff with patient/youth care.
Preparing documentation for patient/youth transfers to other facilities or specialty appointments.
Completing required patient/youth care documentation, providing written or oral reports, and recording in logbooks.
Cleaning, maintaining, and checking equipment.
Checking inventory, ordering, and managing supplies.
