CDL Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and asphalt to construction sites. Your expertise in commercial driving will ensure safe, efficient, and timely deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of large-scale construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of infrastructure development and site preparation.

Duties

Safely operate dump trucks equipped with commercial driver’s licenses (CDL) to transport construction materials between sites and storage areas safely and professionally

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brake systems

Ensure materials are loaded correctly, weight distributed properly, and utilize tarps to cover loads

Obey all safety protocols and construction site regulations to maintain a secure work environment and report any concerns to management

Maintain accurate logs of materials delivered, mileage, fuel usage and maintenance records

Contribute to a positive work environment and work as a team player
Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license for heavy trucks and dump trucks

Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on heavy equipment and trucks

Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and DOT regulations

Professional communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel

Requirements:

Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate

MVR must meet DOT standards

Ability to climb in/out of the cab (3-4 steps) multiple times, and work in varied weather conditions

Previous dump truck experience REQUIRED
