Site Manager for Airbnb near UNR Campus
This role is for a Site Manager of a local vacation rental property in the Northwest Reno area. We are looking for a leader who has strong communication and proactive problem solving skills. Ideally the person in this role is located within close proximity to this location and has flexible schedule that allows them to visit the property, usually in the afternoons, at least 1-2x/wk. The person in this role ideally is looking for a long term, flexible side job that rounds out their work experience. Bonus if the person in this role has a background and/or interest in a career in hospitality, real estate, or real estate investment.
Logistics:
- The person in this role will need their own transportation to and from the property.
- Person in this role will sign an Independent Contractor agreement.
- Pay is $45/hr with a max of 10 hours per month, unless a higher allotment is approved by a manager.

- This is a hybrid role, requiring on site visits as well as flexible remote work.
Job Duties:
1. Property Inspections:
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties after guest check-out & cleaning (estimated 1-2x per week, based on bookings).
- Ensure the property is in pristine condition, addressing any cleaning or maintenance issues promptly.
- Verify that all appliances, amenities, and entertainment features (TVs, WiFi, Fire pit, etc.) are operational.
2. Guest-Ready Coordination:
- Work efficiently to ready the property for the next guest within a tight timeframe.
- Ensure all aspects of the house, from the kitchen to backyard, meet the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
3. Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, including handymen and cleaners, to schedule necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Meet with vendors on site for repairs and services as needed.
4. Guest Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests (when applicable), responding promptly to urgent inquiries and providing information on property features and local recommendations.
- Address guest requests promptly, either remotely or in-person (when necessary or requested by guest), ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
5. Liaison Role:
- Serve as the main liaison between the company and vendors, ensuring seamless communication and efficient problem-solving.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
6. Problem Solving:
- Demonstrate innovation and quick thinking to address unforeseen challenges or emergencies effectively.
- Perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal time between guest check-outs and check-ins.
