Biomedical Equipment Specialist - Sterilizer

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Specialist, specializing in Sterilizers to support healthcare facilities in the Boston/New Hampshire area. This role functions as a Subject Matter Expert in sterilizer systems, while also bringing advanced expertise in one or more high-end healthcare technology modalities. Must have 7 years of experience. The specialist will serve as a technical leader within the region, operating independently with minimal supervision, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced clinical equipment inventories. This position requires strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.

What You'll Do:

Serve as a SME and modality expert for sterilizer systems, ensuring peak performance and adherence to manufacturer and regulatory standards.
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sterilizers and other advanced clinical equipment across multiple facilities.
Collaborate with facility leadership to develop maintenance strategies that support clinical and operational goals.
Maintain accurate service documentation, records, and reports.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in electronic or biomedical engineering, or equivalent experience in managing, maintaining, and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.
Advanced technical proficiency in sterilizer systems to manufacturer standards.
OEM training in Steris and/or Getinge equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively throughout the assigned region.
Excellent planning, organization, and communication abilities.
