Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and document business requirements, identify process improvements, and support the delivery of technology solutions that align with organizational objectives.
Local candidates are strongly preferred. Candidates residing within commuting distance of the project location will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings.
• Translate business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with business users, product owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain business process models, workflow diagrams, and requirements documentation.
• Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist in defining acceptance criteria and validating delivered solutions against business requirements.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support issue resolution.
• Track project requirements, changes, risks, and dependencies.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders and leadership teams.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with requirement management and project tracking tools.
