Software Engineer II REACT (0089-0003)

Develop REACT code and layouts according to Company guidelines. Review requirements to understand audience, usability, and design requirements. Convert design comprehensive layouts into complex working REACT application in a hand-coded environment. Participate in project planning and REACT design with technical, business, and project leaders, planning and discussing the specifics of projects, new technologies, and deadlines. Update existing REACT content, create new layouts and landing pages that follow existing REACT standards, and make modifications to existing developed code. Develop interfaces that are usable, intuitive, and esthetically pleasing. Develop Standards’ compliant application with a concern for accessibility and multi-browser/multi-device compatibility. Perform UX research for both validating a design as well as understanding new initiatives. Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI specifications, and final design deliverables. Ensure user requirements align with business requirements. Coordinate, develop, and facilitate usability tests applying user-centered design principles, human factors, usability heuristics, and methodologies and industry best practices and standards. Document design standards for UI/UX. Ensure graphic design is consistent with Company branding guidelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met. Create sprite maps, icons, buttons, and css themes. Mentor Front End REACT Developer I. Stay current on the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies. Assist employees, vendors, and customers by answering questions related to UI/UX development. Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service. Other duties as assigned.
Requires a U.S. Bachelor’s Degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience and three (3) years of experience with REACT development.
Requires industry experience and demonstrated proficiency with REACT, graphQL, or similar programming server-side experience. Requires industry experience and demonstrated competency with basic database transactions. Requires industry experience and demonstrated ability to quickly iterate through multiple concepts, designs, and layouts, effectively incorporating feedback from multiple disciplines then refining them for improved usability and appearance. Requires industry experience with: (1) Cross-application, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility and (2) Responsive design concepts.
