About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead a dynamic team of developers in the transformation of final mile logistics and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be a key leader within the organization, driving the development team with a highly collaborative approach and deep knowledge of software and development at scale. Responsibilities include partnering with the CTO to create and implement a technology vision, identifying and addressing scalability bottlenecks, and ensuring that customer needs are aligned with team resources and priorities. The VP of Engineering will also be responsible for the rollout and evolution of AI-augmented software development lifecycle, defining and operationalizing metrics for delivery outcomes, and evolving quality gates and governance as AI tooling expands. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' senior leadership experience in full-lifecycle software development, with a proven track record of successful business results and a strong customer focus. The role requires a background in full engineering leadership, the ability to make data-supported decisions, and a passion for talent growth and leadership. Experience in MySQL, Redis, and NoSQL systems, as well as a background in a hyper-growth or scaling tech start-up, is essential. The VP of Engineering will also be responsible for recruiting and retaining top-tier product delivery talent and acting as a supervisor to technical leads. The position demands a leader who can drive the team to meet the company's delivery promise while maintaining a focus on cost reduction, process optimization, and order accuracy.
