About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Initiatives to lead and oversee market performance, segment strategy, sales and market growth, and analytics for the growth team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing multi-year business strategies, with a focus on public/government programs, Medicare, and ACA/Exchange products. This role requires a proven leader with a background in market management, particularly within regulated businesses, and experience in partnering with senior leaders to drive results. The Vice President will also be tasked with managing government relations activities, including advocacy for public policy that aligns with the company's mission. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8-10 years of managed care or healthcare experience, with a preference for a Master's degree. The role demands a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in the context of public/government-funded programs, and a strong grasp of developing and executing growth strategies. The ideal candidate will be an expert strategist, capable of bringing key insights to inform strategy, and will have a proven track record of thought leadership and driving innovative solutions. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to work with all levels of the organization and build trusted relationships. The role also requires a strong sense of corporate compliance and the ability to ensure that all activities are in line with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
