Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years experience. Must have previous Medical ICU & Surgical ICU. Community hospital experience required.

Required Credentials: Pass/fail medication and telemetry exams at orientation; 1 attempt for each exam. If either exam is not passed, the contract is canceled immediately. Study materials are provided during compliance and FDIs.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend block, Fri-Sun.

Floating Requirements: Float to ED for boarders, as needed. Only float to ER to be a pair of hands and do not take an assignment. Agency RNs are rotated with regular staff in floating.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 12 months
