About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its organization, which has a long-standing commitment to women's and family services. The CEO will be responsible for providing visionary leadership, strategic direction, and fostering organizational growth and sustainability. This role involves partnering with the Board of Directors, identifying and addressing community needs, and expanding the organization's reach and impact. The successful candidate will also be the primary ambassador for the organization, championing issues that affect women and families, and will be expected to have a deep understanding of and commitment to the mission of the organization. Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of progressive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, with a preference for those with a background in social services, behavioral health, or related fields. A Master's degree in a related field is required, with a Master of Social Work (MSW) strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, grant development, and resource diversification, as well as strong financial acumen and a commitment to evidence-based practices. Leadership qualities such as exceptional communication, relationship-building, and a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset are essential. The role also demands a leader who is dedicated to the values of equity, compassion, and community-centered leadership, and who can inspire a dedicated team to continue the legacy of the organization.
