About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Tax to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, future-ready tax strategy that aligns with the enterprise's long-term goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of tax planning, global structuring, and financial modeling, ensuring that the tax strategy supports the company's growth and is in line with the CFO, executive committee, and other key stakeholders. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of corporate income tax financial reporting, and a proven track record in driving enterprise transformation and tax technology programs. The Managing Director will also be the executive owner of tax risk management, leading the tax accounting and financial reporting functions, and acting as a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters. Applicants for the Managing Director Tax position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in tax administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree and CPA. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial airline or a related industry, and must demonstrate the ability to build and maintain productive relationships both internally and externally.
