Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Columbia, SC, working in outpatient orthopedics. You will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. Opportunities include working at this clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a travel team.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active South Carolina Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Relevant outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Level classification may consider 0–3 years versus greater than 3 years of relevant outpatient experience.
  • Must be able to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
  • Must be willing to float to other clinics within the local area.
  • On-site approval by clinic director is required before working overtime hours.
  • 36 hours guaranteed with expectation of working up to 40 hours.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Travel team experience or flexibility to work across nearby clinics preferred.
  • Experience working in high-productivity outpatient settings preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Float to other clinics within the area is required.
  • Option to work in this clinic or a neighboring clinic as part of a travel team.
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
  • Productivity expectation: ~60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day.
