Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location. This assignment is located in Jacksonville, AL at a skilled nursing facility.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Alabama Occupational Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Client requires ability to perform documentation in electronic health record systems. Preferred experience with therapy documentation systems and productivity expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with restorative nursing programs and resident care plans preferred.
Assignment Details
- M-F schedule with one weekend rotation per month.
