Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

POSITION SUMMARY

Digital Smiles is seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Southern California. As an RDH at Digital Smiles, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional preventive care while working alongside a collaborative team of doctors and in-house specialists in a cutting-edge digital dentistry environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, prophylaxis, and periodontal therapy for patients of all ages

• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments including periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized preventive care strategies

• Partner with doctors and in-house specialists to develop and present individualized treatment plans

• Document accurate and complete patient records using practice management software

• Utilize digital dentistry tools and technologies consistent with Digital Smiles' standards of care

• Support hygiene recall systems in collaboration with the scheduling coordinator to ensure continuity of care

• Maintain a safe, clean, and OSHA-compliant clinical environment at all times

• Build lasting, trust-based relationships with patients to support long-term oral health outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Current and active RDH license in good standing in the state of California

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Minimum 2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience preferred

• Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Genuine enthusiasm for patient care and team collaboration

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven dental environment
