Customer Service Representative
Job description:
Lisanti Foodservice of Texas is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our growing foodservice distribution operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, assisting with order entry, delivery coordination, issue resolution, and general account support while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, deliveries, invoices, credits, and account information
Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and sales teams to resolve delivery or product issues
Communicate shipping updates, delays, and service changes to customers in a professional manner
Issue credits and process adjustments when necessary
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
Assist customers with product availability and substitutions
Handle incoming calls, emails, and customer requests promptly
Support internal departments to ensure smooth daily operations
Uphold company standards for professionalism, accuracy, and customer service
Input customer orders, which can be up to 200 items per order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Previous customer service experience preferred, ideally in foodservice, distribution, logistics, or related industries
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and order entry systems
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
