Onsite Full Time General

Using technical skills and knowledge to review and evaluate clients’ financial operations and conduct internal audits for key business and financial processes.

Working with the partners and clients to evaluate and perform IT audits and assessments of financial systems and tools, including SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, NetSuite, Coupa, Excel, SQL, Active Directory, and QuickBooks, and applying knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and IT General Controls to improve financial systems and tools.

Applying understanding of the key ITGC domains, including User Access Provisioning & Administration, Change Management, and IT Operations.

Scoping of systems related to IT General Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and evaluating technology-specific risks, IT dependencies, and key controls essential to financial reporting.

Collecting and analyzing financial data through client walkthroughs, interviews, and documentation reviews, and documenting finance and operational processes, flow charts, narratives, control matrices, and policies with final review by engagement leader or partner.

Reviewing and supervising the drafting of documentation of business requirements for critical business processes and the systems/applications that support them by leveraging expertise in the COSO framework, industry standards, client policies, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), and IT General Controls to ensure compliance and process integrity.

Effective use of Microsoft Office to prepare Excel spreadsheets and workbooks, memos/narratives in Word in a professional format and layout, presentations in PowerPoint, and flow charts in Visio.

Reviewing and assessing the team’s project plans, preparing reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings to the management team while monitoring the progress of ongoing projects and adjusting as needed and when directed to do so by the partner to ensure objectives are achieved.

Working closely with the engagement leader or partner and clients to gather information, communicate their evaluations, results, and conclusions based on their skilled analyses of the data, ensuring that work is accurately, effectively, and timely communicated to the partner and clients.

Completing weekly time submission analytics (actual v. budget) and submission to the engagement leader or partner.

Timely capture and communication of project problems and providing recommendations for resolving noted items.

May Telecommute

Will travel 5 % nationally to various cities within the US.
Bachelor’s (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Systems, or a closely related field plus five (5) years’ experience in the job offered or related.
