About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to provide clinical leadership and strategic oversight in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The CMO will be responsible for supervising medical providers, establishing and maintaining clinical standards and policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading quality improvement and population health initiatives. This role requires a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, a current, unrestricted medical license, and board certification in a primary care or relevant specialty. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' progressive clinical leadership experience, with a strong preference for those with prior experience as a Medical Director or senior clinical leader. Key responsibilities for the CMO at the company include providing executive leadership for all clinical services, overseeing the development and management of clinical budgets, and promoting a culture of patient-centered care and health equity. The successful candidate will be adept at strategic planning, and clinical operations oversight, and have a strong understanding of value-based care models and healthcare quality metrics. Collaboration with executive leadership, governing boards, and external partners is essential, as is the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure the organization's clinical operations align with its financial goals. The CMO will also be involved in the implementation and optimization of electronic health records systems and clinical technology tools and must be committed to continuous performance improvement and responsive support to patients, staff, and stakeholders.
