About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Creative & Engineering to take on a pivotal role in setting and maintaining the creative vision, design quality, and execution standards for client-facing retail and experiential work. This senior position is responsible for leading the concept development process, managing and mentoring creative talent, and ensuring that all work is of the highest quality, feasible, and aligned with technical and production realities. The successful candidate will act as a strong cross-functional bridge to engineering and production, contributing to the integration of design vision and engineering execution. Applicants for the Head of Creative & Engineering role at the company should have a background in retail design, environmental design, experiential design, or 3D display work, with a minimum of 7 years' progressive creative leadership experience. The role requires a strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and execution in relevant design contexts, as well as proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. While not a lead engineer, the candidate must be capable of engaging in engineering-adjacent discussions and have a practical understanding of engineering, fabrication, and installation processes. Leadership competencies in creative judgment, cross-functional communication, and problem-solving under production constraints are essential, as is the ability to balance inspiration with executional discipline.
