About the Role

The Company is seeking a Division General Counsel to join their legal organization. This senior attorney will be embedded within the Government Solutions Division, serving as the primary legal partner on all matters related to the division's services, software, and technology solutions for U.S. federal and international clients. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in federal IT contracting, software licensing, intellectual property, and international business law. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading legal support across the full contract lifecycle, advising on intellectual property strategy, and managing outside counsel relationships. Specific responsibilities include government contracts with an IT services focus, software licensing and IP, and international and corporate legal matters. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' of relevant legal experience, with at least 7 years' focused on federal government contracting in IT services, software, or technology. A J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the U.S. are required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating at a senior level, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide strategic legal guidance to division leadership. Experience in areas such as cybersecurity contracting requirements, export control compliance, and international business transactions is essential. The role demands a proactive, innovative individual with the ability to identify and mitigate legal risks, and a willingness to expand into new areas of law to support the company's evolving technology business.
