About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead and develop the accounting function, with a focus on financial reporting, close processes, and process improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and driving improvements in close timelines and reporting accuracy. This role also involves partnering with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, particularly in the areas of cash flow, operational accounting, and strategic initiatives. The VP of Accounting will be expected to have a strong background in leadership and team management, as well as a proven track record in process optimization and systems implementation. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company must have an active CPA license, a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and at least 10 years' of progressive accounting experience. A minimum of 2-3 years' in a Controller or VP of Accounting role within a similarly sized organization is required, with a preference for those with experience in a private equity-backed environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in multi-entity, multi-state organizations, and experience with lease accounting and complex organizational structures. While not mandatory, experience in the healthcare industry and with Sage Intacct is highly desirable. The role demands a professional with a proven ability to lead teams through growth and change, as well as a strong focus on process improvement, scalability, and the ability to support strategic initiatives such as acquisitions and financial analyses.
